Justin Timberlake‘s performance slot at tomorrow’s Super Bowl Halftime Show (February 4) is reportedly set to feature a hologram of Prince.

The former *NSYNC vocalist will perform during the hallowed Halftime Show for the second time in his career tomorrow night, with his headline performance this year set to follow the infamous guest spot he had during Janet Jackson’s Halftime Show back in 2004.

While it is thought that Timberlake won’t be bringing Jackson out on stage, a new report has claimed that his performance slot will include a special hologram of Prince. The late artist, who passed away in 2016, famously performed at the Super Bowl Halftime Show back in 2007.

TMZ are reporting that Timberlake will honour the memory of Prince through the inclusion of the hologram, with the gesture given added significance as this year’s Super Bowl is being played in Prince’s home city of Minneapolis.

Speaking last month about performing with Jackson at the 2004 Super Bowl Halftime Show, Timberlake admitted that he “stumbled” through the gig.

“I had my wires crossed and it’s just something that you have to look back on and go like: ‘OK, well you know, you can’t change what’s happened but you can move forward and learn from it.”
