Have The Spice Girls finally agreed to a reunion?

The Spice Girls have reportedly agreed to reunite for the first time since 2012, with the iconic girl group set to receive £10 million each for a series of new projects.

After previously expressing her reluctance, Victoria Beckham reportedly agreed to join forces after receiving assurances that she wouldn’t have to lend her vocals to the project.

The Girl Power pioneers are believed to be holding talks in London today for a series of upcoming projects, including TV shows, endorsements and a greatest hits compilation.

But in an undoubted blow to fans of the group, it is not believed that there are any live performances in the pipeline.

A source told The Sun: “This is the pop reunion no one thought would ever happen again. But after a long period of negotiation Victoria agreed the time is right to work on new projects this year.

“It’s very exciting because she has always been adamant she wouldn’t go back.”

“Victoria and Geri agreed it would be impossible to be part of a fully-fledged tour because of family and business commitments”, the source added.

“Now that she’s a top designer Victoria is concerned about singing but she wants to make money to pump back into her business.”

The group last performed at the Olympics Closing Ceremony in 2012, but Victoria Beckham has remained continuously resolute about not wanting to reunite.

“It is not happening. At some point you’ve gotta know when it’s time say, ‘that was great’,” she told Alison Hammond on This Morning last year.

“Girl Power will always be out there and is something that we all still believe.”
