The ceremony is being held at New York’s Madison Square Garden. It is the first time the awards have not taken place in Los Angeles in 15 years.

Jay-Z leads the nominations this year with eight nominations for his acclaimed ‘4:44‘, followed by Kendrick Lamar with seven and Bruno Mars with six. Foo Fighters, Leonard Cohen and Chris Cornell are among the acts up for ‘Best Rock Performance’.

The 2018 ceremony will be hosted by James Corden, while performers are set to include the likes of Bruno Mars, Cardi B, Rihanna, DJ Khaled, Elton John with Miley Cyrus, Kendrick Lamar, and more.

The Best Dance Recording award was the first to be handed out at the pre-telecast ceremony, hosted by Paul Shaffer and during which the bulk of the winners will be revealed. The prize went to LCD Soundsystem for ‘Tonite’, beating Bonobo, Camelphat & Elderbrook, Gorillaz, and Odesza to the trophy.
