Graham Coxon has discussed working on new solo music and whether Blur are planning on releasing another album.

Earlier this week, Coxon announced that he’s releasing the soundtrack for hit Channel 4/Netflix show The End Of The F***ing World, sharing a track called ‘Walking All Day’ from it.

The Blur guitarist spoke to NME yesterday (January 18), explaining that he’s “interested” in doing more soundtrack work because he “had such a good experience” doing the music for The End Of The F***ing World.

“But I’m working on my own things as well,” Coxon added. “I’m still working on an album I recorded a while back when I was doing work with Blur. Those were some good times.”

Blur returned in 2015 with ‘The Magic Whip’, their first record in 12 years. Asked whether fans should expect a new album from the Britpop band soon, Coxon replied: “We haven’t discussed it. We are just doing what we are doing.”

The End Of The F***ing World soundtrack, which is Coxon’s debut original score, is set for both a digital and physical release. The 16-track album will be available to stream and download digitally on January 26, while a vinyl release is scheduled for March.

Pre-order is now open for iTunes, vinyl and digital download, and the lead single from the soundtrack, ‘Walking All Day’, is streaming now.

The show, which debuted on Channel 4 back in October before receiving its international release on Netflix earlier this month, is based on Charles S Forsman’s comic series of the same name.
