The Vaccines have shared a video for their new single ‘I Can’t Quit’. Scroll below to watch.

Upcoming album ‘Combat Sports’ was confirmed last year and is their fourth record to date, following on from ‘What Did You Expect from the Vaccines?’ (2011), ‘Come of Age’ (2012) and ‘English Graffiti’ (2015). It will be released on March 30.

This new video for ‘I Can’t Quit’ sees the band on a night out in Italy, one that quickly goes awry and turns bloody.

“The song is really simple, confident and fun and we wanted our role in the video to reflect that. but we also wanted the video to represent these vicious cycles that we often get ourselves into but have no control over – they can feel confusing, isolating and violent,” the band say.

The band’s new album has been called a “return to their roots” and described as “ranging from pure Vaccines rock and roll through to powerpop”.

The Vaccines will embark on a nine-date UK tour this April, culminating in a massive show at London’s Alexandra Palace. Scroll beneath to see those dates in full.

“It sort of builds on the musicality of ‘English Graffiti’, but I think there’s a lot more of spirit and energy from ‘What Did You Expect…’” frontman Justin Young told NME about the new record in 2016. “We’re in the studio every day playing together, so it feels a lot more like a band again, which maybe ‘English Graffiti’ stopped slightly. I guess it replenishes some of that spirit and that energy of the first record.”

Speaking of what inspired his lyrics, Young said: “Sex and love, and love lost. I really I became very self-aware a couple of years ago. I was insecure about the fact that all I sung about was sex and love. I realised its all I care about. So I’ve kind of come to terms with that.”

The ‘Combat Sports’ tracklist:

‘Put It On a T-Shirt’ ‘I Can’t Quit’ ‘Your Love Is My Favourite Band’ ‘Surfing in the Sky’ ‘Maybe (Luck of the Draw)’ ‘Young American’ ‘Nightclub’ ‘Out On The Street’ ‘Take It Easy’ ‘Someone To Lose’ ‘Rolling Stones’
