According to frontman Oli Sykes...

Bring Me The Horizon will perform at next year’s All Points East Festival, frontman Oli Sykes has revealed.

Sykes announced the news at the band’s Alexandra Palace tonight (November 30).

Speaking during the encore, the frontman said: “London, you’re always amazing, but tonight was something else. We will back next year, playing a festival called All Points East.”

At the time of writing, festival representatives have not confirmed the news.

The Sheffield band kicked off their European tour earlier this month. On the tour’s opening night at Stuttgart’s Schleyer-Halle, the group treated the crowd to two new tracks from their upcoming album, ‘Amo’.

After beginning their set with ‘MANTRA’, the comeback single they released earlier this year, the band aired ‘Wonderful Life’ for the first time live.

All Points East was last year headlined by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The National, LCD Soundsystem, Bjork, The xx and Catfish and the Bottlemen.

The 2019 instalment has so far confirmed The Chemical Brothers and Bon Iver as headliners.

All Points East is held in Victoria Park in the Tower Hamlets region of London, with the 2019 festivals set to take run from May 24-June 2.

NME has contacted the festival for confirmation.
