Back to the site of their first ever London show...

The 1975 have confirmed details of a tiny London show early next month.

In a since deleted tweet, frontman Matty Healy confirmed that the Manchester band will head to the Camden Assembly Hall on December 4. It marks five years since their first London show at the venue, when it was known as the Camden Barfly. He shared a photo of the venue’s exterior, which has been painted in their honour.

“In December 2012, The 1975 played their first London headline show at Camden Barfly”, reads the elaborate mural. “On 4th December 2018, the band return to play a one off show for their top listeners on Spotify Premium.”

Full details of how to get tickets to the gig are yet to be revealed.

The London show comes only a week after the band announced that they will play Kingston’s New Slang club night on November 29.

Next week also sees the band releasing ‘A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships’. In a five star review, NME described it as “the millennial answer to ‘OK Computer.”
