The first headliner and batch of acts for All Points East 2019 revealed

Next year's festival will once again take place in east London's Victoria Park

The first batch of artists for All Points East 2019 have been announced, with The Chemical Brothers revealed as the first headliner of next year’s 10-day London festival.

The sprawling music and entertainment festival will return for a second year next summer to Victoria Park in the Tower Hamlets region of the capital, with All Points East 2019 set to take place from May 24 to June 2. Tickets for the 2019 edition of festival will go on general sale this Friday at 9am (November 9).

The first line-up announcement for the 2019 festival has been made this morning (November 6), confirming that The Chemical Brothers will headline the event on the first Friday of the festival (May 24).

A host of other acts have also been added to the bill for May 24, including Hot Chip, Primal Scream and Little Dragon. The likes of Spiritualized, Danny Brown, Little Simz and Ibibio Sound Machine have also all joined the line-up for 2019. See the festival’s first line-up poster below.

All Points East

More names are expected to be added to the bill for All Points East 2019 in the coming weeks.

Speaking about next year’s festival, AEG Presents’ Executive Vice President for Live Music Jim King remarked: “We are thrilled to be returning to Victoria Park for a second year with an artist bill as exciting as our first year.

“We’re expanding our programme of free midweek entertainment and again working alongside some of the best local suppliers to produce an incredible ten days of entertainment with something for everyone.”

This year’s All Points East was headlined by Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, The National, LCD Soundsystem, Bjork, The xx and Catfish and the Bottlemen.
