The pop star spoke out again about the importance of looking after your mental health

Ariana Grande has told fans “therapy has saved [her] life” and urged her followers to seek help if they needed it.

The pop star responded to one fan on Twitter who, following the release of her self-empowerment single ‘Thank U, Next’, asked: “Who is ariana’s therapist and are they accepting new clients.”

“lmaoaoo this is funny as fuck but in all honesty therapy has saved my life so many times,” Grande replied. “if you’re afraid to ask for help, don’t be. u don’t have to be in constant pain & u can process trauma. I’ve got a lot of work to do but it’s a start to even be aware that it’s possible.”

In last week’s BBC Music special, the singer opened up about her mental health again, discussing how she feels “guilty” about having anxiety. “It’s just in your head and it’s just so crazy how powerful it is,” she said.

She used the programme to encourage people to speak about mental health issues. “The most important thing is to remember that… everybody has this,” she said. “Talk to your loved ones, reach out to people, especially your friends online. Reach out to each other.”

Recently, Grande told fans that she is “ready” to head out on tour in support of her latest album, ‘Sweetener‘. Fans were previously unsure whether she would go on the road after she announced she was taking a break from music to focus on her mental health.

Meanwhile, over the weekend (November 3), the star shared more details about the follow-up to ‘Sweetener’. Answering fans’ questions on Twitter, she revealed there would be no collaborations and ‘Thank U, Next’ will be the last song on the record.
