Donations were made across merchandise and ticket contributions

Harry Styles raised a massive $1.2million for charity during his world tour – which saw the pop star play 89 shows across Europe, America, Asia and Australia.

The final two nights of the world tour took place at The Forum in Los Angeles last week (July 13 & 14). Styles marked the end of the shows by tweeting, “Thank you to my band, the crew, and all the of you for making this tour so wonderful. Treat people with kindness. Goodbye for now.”

It’s now been revealed that Styles raised money for 62+ different charities across the world, as part of his ‘Treat People With Kindness’ merchandise range. Profits from these purchases, as well as a portion of ticket sales, was donated to a number of local charities from his tour stops. You can see the full list of charities here.

Styles also shunned single-use plastic on the tour, with Reverb and Water Conservation noting that 13,000 single-use water bottles went unused by fans and band/crew across all shows.

Styles also decorated his guitar with a couple of ‘End Gun Violence’ stickers during the American leg of his tour.

Posting a picture of the guitar to his Instagram, Styles simply captioned the image “Dallas, Live on Tour”.

He later performed a cover of Shania Twain while playing Madison Square Garden.

Country-pop artist Kacey Musgraves was the support act for Styles’ American tour, and joined him to perform the Shania Twain classic.

“We’re going to sing one of my personal favorites,” he said after welcoming Musgraves back on stage. “If you know the words, then do please join in with us.”
