The singer has shared a new version of her hit single

Dua Lipa has recorded a new version of her single ‘IDGAF’ in French.

The track appeared on her self-titled debut album, which was released last year. In a four-star review, NME wrote: “It’s impressive to hear how confidently the debut holds itself together, flitting between styles but always shining a spotlight on a legitimate pop sensation. She’s the real deal.”

Sharing the new version on Twitter, Lipa wrote: “Your wish is my command bb’s!” The rest of the message was written in French, which roughly translated to: “To all my French loves, I have just recorded a version of ‘IDGAF’ on which I sing in French aahhh! There is also a version with Master Gims, my favourite rapper. I hope I can play it very soon!” Listen to the new version below.

Meanwhile, Lipa could be recording the next Bond theme. In an interview on BBC 5 Live, Years & Years were asked who they thought might get the call-up, to which Mikey Goldsworthy replied: “Because we had Judy Dench who was M, and Ben Whishaw who was Q, we thought it would be us.

“I thought they’d ask us to do the theme tune but I think Dua Lipa is doing it,” he added.

The ‘New Rules’ singer was previously linked with the project, but denied that she was recording the theme tune for Bond 25 “so far.” “I don’t want to jinx it,” she said. “I would love to do it.”
