Lil Uzi Vert and Rich The Kid “involved in fight” at Starbucks
 Add to favorites

Lil Uzi Vert and Rich The Kid were reportedly involved in a fight at a Starbucks in Philadelphia at the weekend.

Both rappers were in the US city for the annual Roots Picnic festival, with fan-shot footage showing Lil Uzi verbally confronting his fellow star on a street corner.

Reports suggest that Rich The Kid then ran down the street into a nearby Starbucks branch, where a physical confrontation started.

Rich The Kid later posted a video, suggesting that he was unharmed in the incident.

In March, Rich The Kid shared a Lil Uzi diss track, titled ‘Dead Friends’. Its title referenced Uzi’s ‘XO Tour Llif3’ lyric “Push me to the edge / All my friends are dead“. The song also included the line, “Yo money getting shorter”, a reference to Lil Uzi Vert’s ‘Money Longer’.

Lil Uzi Vert performed at London’s O2 Brixton Academy in April, with NME‘s Sam Moore writing that the show “felt like a perfect acid test for Uzi’s budding rockstar credentials”.

Adding: “Just 50 minutes into his allotted 105 minutes on stage, Uzi – who spends the final 10 minutes of the show mostly zipping around the stage and only occasionally rapping over the backing track – delivers one final call-and-response (“When I say ‘Uzi’, you say ‘London’”) before he then drops the mic, drinks up one final serving of the rapturous acclaim from his audience and departs the stage. Have we been short-changed? Not at all – all good rockstars know to leave their fans wanting more.”
