Ariana Grande has revealed that she suffers from PTSD following the Manchester Arena attack that happened at her concert last May.

The event saw a suicide bomber detonate a homemade bomb as people were leaving the show, killing 22 and injuring 59.

In the wake of the event, Grande organised the One Love Manchester concert, which saw performances from Coldplay, Liam Gallagher and Justin Bieber.

Now in a new interview, Grande says she has PTSD, revealing she can’t talk about the incident without crying. “It’s hard to talk about because so many people have suffered such severe, tremendous loss. But, yeah, it’s a real thing,” she told British Vogue.

“I know those families and my fans, and everyone there experienced a tremendous amount of it as well,” she added. “Time is the biggest thing.

“I feel like I shouldn’t even be talking about my own experience – like I shouldn’t even say anything. I don’t think I’ll ever know how to talk about it and not cry.”

Grande is the cover star of this month’s British Vogue and you can see some images from the feature below.

Last week, the artist revealed why she chose to sing ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’ during last year’s One Love Manchester concert.

The song is her grandpa’s favorite, with Grande explaining how she would always sing it to him when she was a child. “He would always tell me to sing it in my concerts. He would always say, ‘You know what you should end with? ‘Over the Rainbow’. And I never did it until that moment.”
