Ariana Grande has shared a snippet from an upcoming collaboration with Nicki Minaj.

Grande is set to release her new album ‘Sweetener’ this summer. It includes the recent single ‘No Tears Left To Cry’.

On Sunday (May 27), Ariana posted a video of her lip-syncing along to a track called ‘The Light Is Coming’. The song features a verse from Minaj and Grande singing the lyrics: “The light is coming to get back everything the darkness stole”.

Minaj later tweeted in response to Grande’s clip: “Can’t let a EFF boy EFF up my nice vibez! Yo Ariana come lemme gih u a high 5!!!!!!!!”

Grande recently responded to a fan’s “absurd” criticism of her break-up with Mac Miller – and said that her former relationship was “toxic”.

It was confirmed earlier this month that Grande and rapper Miller had “quietly cut off their romantic relationship after their work schedules became too busy”. However, it was said that the pair remained on good terms.

Grande confirmed the news and described her ex as “one of my best friends in the world”, adding that she “respects and adores him endlessly” and is “so proud of him”.

Last week (May 22), a tweet from a fan of Miller went viral after he took aim at Grande in regards to the recent separation.

He posted: “Mac Miller totalling his G wagon and getting a DUI after Ariana Grande dumped him for another dude after he poured his heart out on a ten song album to her called the divine feminine is just the most heartbreaking thing happening in Hollywood”.

The ‘One Last Time’ pop star then responded to the fan, criticising the sexism in blaming her for Miller’s actions.

“How absurd that you minimize female self-respect and self-worth by saying someone should stay in a toxic relationship because he wrote an album about them, which btw isn’t the case (just Cinderella is ab me),” Grande said.

“I am not a babysitter or a mother and no woman should feel that they need to be.”

She continued: “I have cared for him and tried to support his sobriety and prayed for his balance for years (and always will of course) but shaming/blaming women for a man’s inability to keep his shit together is a very major problem. Let’s please stop doing that.”
