Ameer Vann has been kicked out of Brockhampton following sexual assault allegations made against him.

The 22-year-old rapper is at the centre of a number of claims made by ex-partners, including emotional and sexual abuse, and having sexual relations with a minor.

The announcement was posted on social media today (May 27).

“Ameer is no longer in Brockhampton,” it reads. “We want to sincerely apologise to the victims affected by Ameer’s actions. We were lied to, and we’re sorry for not speaking up sooner.

“We do not tolerate abuse of any kind. This is not a solution to their suffering, but we hope this is a step in the right direction.

“We are going to cancel the remaining dates of our current US tour to go home and regroup.”

Vann hasn’t responded to the decision publicly, and hasn’t tweeted since his denial of emotional and sexual abuse accusations and apology for past bad behaviour, on May 12, where he wrote: “I am sorry to the people I’ve hurt and the fans I’ve disappointed.

“I’ve been in relationships where I’ve fucked up and disrespected my partners. I’ve cheated and been dismissive to my exes. Throughout the past 3 years I’ve been working hard to reflect on myself and seek out help. It continues to be a learning process every day.”

Brockhampton’s fourth album ‘Puppy’ was due to be released in June. The band have previously shared two versions of artwork for it.
