The final took place at NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium in Kiev, Ukraine, and the match saw Real Madrid beat Liverpool 3-1, with Gareth Bale coming off the bench to score two goals.

Earlier this week, Dua Lipa spoke to NME about her plans for the year ahead and promised that she’s got some “surprises” up her sleeve.

Speaking about her successful year after shooting to mainstream success and winning two Brit awards, the singer reflected on her career so far.

Dua, whose self-titled debut album came out last year, said: “There have been so many pinch myself moments. It kind of happens on a daily basis because there are so many exciting things happening. When I first put my album out that was a very, very big deal for me, to put that body of work out there that I’d been working on for such a long time. I remember winning my award at NME and that was one of the first awards I’d ever won and that recognition and support really meant a lot to me.”

Recently, the star showed support for her LGBTQ fans ahead of Pride month in June and also responded to rumours that she’s recording the next James Bond theme tune.
