 Add to favorites

Ariana Grande has confirmed her and Mac Miller‘s break-up.

Reports recently claimed that the pair had “quietly cut off their romantic relationship after their work schedules became too busy”, but that they remain “best friends”.

Grande has now appeared to confirm the reports, describing rapper Miller as “one of my best friends in the whole world” in an Instagram story, adding that she “respects and adores him endlessly” and is “so proud of him”.

Grande recently confirmed that her new album will be called ‘Sweetener’ and will be released at some point in the summer.

Last month, the singer released her first song since the bombing at her Manchester Arena concert, ‘No Tears Left To Cry’.

“My album is coming this summer,” Grande confirmed last week (May 1) on The Tonight Show, telling host Jimmy Fallon that she worked with Pharrell on the record.

“It was a really awesome experience,” she added. “It is called ‘Sweetener’… because it’s kind of about bringing light to a situation or to someone’s life or somebody else bringing light to your life, sweetening the situation.”

Ariana also confirmed that song titles include tracks called ‘R.E.M’, ‘The Light Is Coming’, ‘God Is A Woman’ and ‘Raindrops’.

Grande made a surprise appearance at the second weekend of Coachella (April 20), dropping into Kygo’s set to perform ‘No Tears Left To Cry’. She also treated the Californian audience to a cover of Marvin Gaye’s ‘Sexual Healing’ – a track that has been remixed by Kygo in the past.
