Watch Beyonce’s epic fail as she drops sister Solange onstage at Coachella
 Add to favorites

Beyoncé and sister Solange took a tumble onstage at Coachella during Bey’s headline set last night (April 21).

Despite there being rumours of ‘a few changes’ to her set during the festival’s second weekend, the main difference was that the singer was wearing different outfits (donning pink instead of last week’s yellow) – and that she dropped her sister.

A video clip shows the moment Solange goes in for a hug and Beyoncé appears to attempt to pick her up, resulting in them both falling over.

The pair roll around on the floor for a second before jumping up, laughing, as Beyoncé shouts, “Give it up for my sister!”

The pair styled it out spectacularly, carrying on the show in a way only they could.

Fans were also upset that her second headline set wasn’t live-streamed, with 458,000 people around the world simultaneously watching her previous weekend’s performance.

The stream was removed soon after, with fans disappointed that they couldn’t re-watch it.

Other highlights of this weekend’s festival included a surprise performance from Ariana Grande, who joined Kygo onstage to perform her new single.

Grande returned this week with ‘No Tears Left To Cry’, her first new single since last year’s Manchester Arena attack.

Kygo also paid an emotional tribute to the late DJ and producer Avicii, who tragically passed away on Friday (April 20) at the age of 28.

The Norwegian DJ closed his set with Avicii’s 2017 single, ‘Without You’ as he told the crowd that the DJ was his ‘biggest inspiration’ and the reason he got into EDM.

That same night, Bleachers and St. Vincent covered Depeche Mode during the former’s set, performing ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’ for the crowd.
