 Add to favorites

Kanye West has revealed some hand-drawn visuals to tease his upcoming collaboration with Kid Cudi under the name ‘Kids See Ghosts’.

West has recently become a prolific tweeter after many months of silence. As well as sharing plenty of life advice for creatives, he announced a handful of new projects including a “7 song” album which is June 1 and a collaborative album with Kid Cudi which will be released June 8.

In a series of tweets last night (April 22), Kanye West shared an aesthetic clue for his new project with Cudi. Captioned ‘Murakami vibes’, it references Japanese artist Takashi Murakami who designed the cover to Kanye’s 2007 album,’Graduation’.

The images show ‘chibi’ versions of West and Cudi as well as the duo’s current title ‘Kids See Ghosts’ written in Japanese. Check out Kanye’s ‘Kids See Ghosts’ tweet below.

West last released an album with 2016’s ‘The Life Of Pablo‘. It came second in NME‘s Albums Of The Year listthat year, after The 1975’s ‘I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It‘.

The rapper recently shared that he was writing a philosophy book called Break The Simulation about society’s obsession with photographs. Yesterday (April 18), he began posting lines that he explained were him writing the book “in real time”. “No publisher or publicist will tell me what to put where or how many pages to write,” he said. “This is not a financial opportunity this is an innate need to be expressive.”
