Miley Cyrus has reportedly expressed a desire to collaborate with a RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars winner.

Drag queen Trixie Mattel was recently crowned winner of the third series of the spin-off from the main Drag Race series.

In an interview with NME, Mattel was asked who she would love to collaborate with. After citing Jason Isbell, Aimee Mann, and Kacey Musgraves, she added Cyrus to the list. “She messaged me saying we should write a song sometime, but in famous world that probably means it’s never going to happen,” she said.

“But I’m also a control freak,” she continued. “That’s something I like about drag – I get to do everything. Collaborative arts are hard for me because I don’t really like to relinquish control.”

Meanwhile, Cyrus recently lent her support to students of Parkland, Florida’s Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, backing a song pupils had written in the aftermath of February’s mass shooting there that left 17 dead.

Sharing the song on Twitter, the star wrote: “Please support the powerful message of change, unity and healing from student survivors of the #StonemanDouglas shooting. Listen to their song & be a part of the movement to help end gun violence!”

Cyrus released her latest album, ‘Younger Now‘, in September 2017. In a four-star review, NME wrote: “Miley has put the bong back on the shelf, slipped her cowboy boots back on and returned to her Tennessee roots… This is a glossy mainstream version of the Nashville sound that has more in common with Shania Twain than the new school of cool country, like Third Man Records signing Margo Price.”
