Last night saw Graham Coxon join Muse frontman Matt Bellamy’s new Beatles tribute act on stage at the Royal Albert Hall. Check out photos, footage and the setlist below.

Having recently stormed SXSW with a surprise performance featuring Miles Kane on vocals, last night saw a slightly different formation of Dr Pepper’s Jaded Hearts Club Band take to the stage at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall as special guest to headliner Roger Daltrey as part of this year’s series of Teenage Cancer Trust shows.

Decked out in all black with leather jackets, turtle-necks and Chelsea boots reminiscent of the Fab Four’s look during their Hamburg years, the line-up of Bellamy and Coxon along with Nine Inch Nails’ Ilan Rubin, Jet’s Chris Cester, The Zutons’ Sean Payne and guitarist Jamie Davis, the supergroup tore through a selection of The Beatles’ rockier numbers.

Last month, they revealed that the project was still very much a ‘work in progress‘. Speaking to NME, the band also opened up about their future.

“We’re going to do the biggest tour and just blow people’s minds with stuff they’ve never seen before,” frontman Matt Bellamy told NME.

“We’re going to come up with something that no one’s ever seen before. We’re always interested in the latest technology and what’s cutting edge, so we’re always thinking of the new thing that nobody’s ever used before in a concert. And we found something and we’re going to use that.”

“We’ve been working on a lot of new music,” Bellamy added, “we’re going to release more new songs this year, working towards an album which will come out some time soon.”
