A new Sky Arts series will feature archive performances from the likes of Radiohead and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds.

The renowned US music show Austin City Limits – which debuted back in 1976 – is behind the footage of the classic sets, with a new five-episode series of the show set to air next month on UK TV for the very first time.

As well as “seminal” sets from Radiohead (recorded in 2012) and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds (2014), performances from Robert Plant (2016), Foo Fighters (2015) and Coldplay (2011) will also be shown as part of the new series.

See the scheduling details for Austin City Limits on Sky Arts below.

April 8, 9pm – Foo Fighters

April 15, 9pm – Radiohead

April 22, 9pm – Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds

April 29, 9pm – Coldplay

May 6, 9pm – Robert Plant & The Sensational Space Shifters

Speaking about the launch of the show in the UK, Austin City Limits’ General Manager Tom Gimbel said: “The UK has an incredible history of music television shows including the iconic Top of the Pops and Later… with Jools Holland. We’re excited and honoured to bring Austin City Limits to UK music fans via SKY TV.”

Earlier this week, Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke announced a UK and European solo tour.
