Kanye West’s Yeezy clothing company sued over camouflage patterns

Kanye West‘s Yeezy clothing company is being sued over its camouflage patterns, according to new reports.

As TMZ report, camouflage patterns for the clothing company have been flagged as infringing copyright by Jordan Outdoor Enterprises Ltd. and their Realtree line of products. The claim cites “distinctive markings” which were taken by Yeezy, and claims that the company had previously got in touch to enquire about using them.

At the end of last year, West launched Yeezy Season 6, the latest instalment in the long-running fashion line, with a series of shots modelled by wife Kim Kardashian. He also recently filed a trademark under the name ‘Yeezy Sound’, leaving many to speculate that the rapper is preparing his own streaming service.

The trademark – which was filed in November 2017 – would cover a service which includes “streaming of music, audio, images, video, and other multimedia content, over the Internet.”

The news comes following an extensive feud between West and TIDAL owner Jay-Z. Kanye left TIDAL over a money dispute earlier this year – the culmination of an extensive feud between the two. Despite Jay-Z hitting out at Kanye on his recent ‘4:44’ album though, September saw reports that the two were set to settle their differences.
