 Add to favorites

The NWA figurehead and Beats co-founder was an unannounced guest at .Paak’s Apple Music/Beats-organised show this evening, which was only publicised last week.

After taking to the stage at the O2 Brixton Academy an hour after his scheduled time, .Paak surprised his fans by then bringing his mentor out on stage.

Dre performed a short medley of ‘Still D.R.E.’ and ‘The Next Episode’, both of which featured on his landmark ‘2001’ album. He also told the crowd that he was there “to present and represent” .Paak.

The artist last released a full-length record with ‘Yes Lawd!’, a project with his NxWorries collaborator Knxwledge.
