Tame Impala have been announced as a headliner at this year’s Pitchfork Festival.

The Kevin Parker-led band are looking forward to an increasingly-busy touring period this summer, with the Australian group set to take part in festival season in the UK, Europe and North America.

Today (March 13) has seen Tame Impala being confirmed as one of three headliners at Pitchfork Music Festival 2018, which is held in Chicago’s Union Park in the US. The festival, which will take place between July 20-22, will also see headliner performances from Fleet Foxes and Lauryn Hill.

Elsewhere on the bill, Courtney Barnett and Earl Sweatshirt will perform on the Friday (July 20), while The War On Drugs and Blood Orange will grace Pitchfork Festival on the Saturday (July 21).

The final day, which Hill will headline, will also see slots from the likes of Chaka Khan, (Sandy) Alex G and DRAM. See the full line-up below.

Tame Impala’s sole UK touring date in 2018 – so far – will be at Citadel Festival in London. You check out the rest of the line-up for that festival here.

Last week, Tame Impala’s collaboration with ZHU – titled ‘My Life’ – was released.

Chinese American artist ZHU – best known for his 2014 hit ‘Faded’ – first took to Twitter in January to hint at the collaboration, tweeting: “TameImpalaxzhu???”
