The Neighbourhood‘s new video stars none other than Tommy Wiseau.

Wiseau is best known for his cult classic film The Room and inspiring James Franco’s recent The Disaster Artist.

The Californian band’s new clip for ‘Scary Love’ sees Wiseau embroiled in a shoot-out in a late-night diner with a evil cyborg waitress. Watch beneath.

The track is lifted from The Neighbourhood’s self-titled third album, which was released last week (March 9).

The Neighbourhood are set to support Catfish and the Bottlemen at their huge All Points East Presents show in London this summer.

Wiseau became something of a cult figure following the release of his film The Room in 2003, a movie often labelled the “worst film ever”.

In January, James Franco won the Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for his role as Wiseau in The Disaster Artist.

During Franco’s acceptance speech, he paid tribute to Wiseau, inviting him onto the stage but stopping him from taking control of the microphone.

Later asked by the LA Times what he would have said, Wiseau revealed that his message would have been: “If a lot of people loved each other, the world would be a better place to live.”

He said he would have then added: “See The Room, have fun, and enjoy life. The American Dream is alive, and it’s real.”
