Ariana Grande appears to have voiced her approval of Liam Gallagher‘s BRIT Awards performance.

Last night (February 21) saw Liam perform Oasis classic ‘Live Forever’ as part of a tribute to the victims of last year’s Manchester bombings.

22 people were killed in May last year when suicide bomber Salman Abedi blew himself up in the foyer of Manchester Arena as fans left a Ariana Grande concert.

Grande was initially scheduled to perform in the tribute, but – according to reports – was forced to cancel after doctor’s orders prevented her from flying. Gallagher was quickly snapped up as the replacement.

At last year’s One Love Manchester tribute concert, which saw Grande headline, Liam performed ‘Live Forever’ with Coldplay’s Chris Martin.

Now Grande has seemingly voiced her approval of Gallagher’s tribute, sharing a clip of his performance on Instagram along with a heart and the bee emoji (the Manchester worker bee became a symbol in the aftermath of the attack).

NME has asked Grande’s camp for a direct quote.

Gary Barlow introduced Liam Gallagher at last night’s BRITs, saying that the One Manchester concert “epitomised the human spirit” and that “hate will never win and fear will never divide us”.

Gallagher was nominated for British Male Solo Artist on the night but lost out to Stormzy.
