Listen to this new baby friendly version of Nirvana’s ‘All Apologies’

Nirvana’s ‘All Apologies’ was reinvigorated yesterday after a nursery friendly version of the song played over a new T-Mobile advert.

Debuted during the high profile Super Bowl Sunday match in the US, the clip features a video of several babies lying down whilst a narrator reads a message about the next generation.

The grungy guitar and drums of the original are replaced with twinkly glockenspiel for the baby themed re-boot.

“You are unstoppable,” the narrator reads.

“You’ll love who you want, you’ll demand fair and equal pay, you will not allow where you come from to dictate where you’re going, you will be heard not dismissed.”

Watch the clip below:

This year, we wanted to use our #SuperBowl airtime to share that @TMobile believes we all started in the same place. We are more alike than different. And we are unstoppable.

And here’s the original, in case you’ve forgotten.

Today Courtney Love, Kurt Cobain’s widow, posted about “duplicitous religious ads during the Superbowl”, but she is not thought to have been referring to the T-Mobile ad.

My thoughts on duplicitous religious ads during the Superbowl #wtf

Meanwhile, Cobain’s daughter Francis Bean recently covered the Leonard Cohen classic ‘Hallelujah’ on her instagram.

The model and artist received a great deal of praise for the rendition from fans.

Earlier this year, four new extremely rare Nirvana demo tapes surfaced online. Listen to those here.
