Turbo-folk

Turbo-folk - a genre that originated in Yugoslavia in the 80's and gained the greatest popularity at the turn of the 90's and zero in Serbia and in the whole Balkans. Classic turbo-folk is a mixture of folk Balkan music with electronic western sound. For turbo-folk is characterized by the use of deliberately "cheap" synthesizers and a peculiar cacophony of arrangements. The most famous artists of the genre are Tzets, Stoyanka Novakovich, Mile Kitić, Dragana Mirkovich. Every weekday is a new playlist in the "Genre of the Day" rubric. Here and in our telegram-channel: t.me/ya_musicgenre.
