This direction of jungle appeared in the nineties under the influence of Jamaican music - reggae, dub and dancehall. Ragga-jungle combines the features of classic jungle with a complex rhythm and haunting bass, rough lyrics and ragga vocals - something like a rap that is read in a singsong.
