Quoting the classics

October 27 celebrates the birthday of the violinist and sportswoman Vanessa May, famous among other things for the modern processing of classical compositions. We remembered the musicians, who in their songs also turned to the classics. Rapper Nas, for example, samples "To Elise" by Beethoven, Robbie Williams quotes a passage from Prokofiev's "Romeo and Juliet" ballet, and Jem uses a melody from Bach's "Well-Tempered Clavier".
